"As Hell of the West race director I would like to publicly acknowledge the support given to this years event by two local companies who came to the events rescue after we lost our major sponsor very late last year. Sudholz Engineering and Construction and Goondiwindi Holden provided the financial backing we required to stage this years event. This support prevented the loss of a $150,000 plus windfall that the event generates each year for the district along with the tremendous publicity that the race generates for the town across the state and nationally. Sudholz and Goondiwindi Holden have certainly demonstrated thier desire to assist local events even in these harsh economic times" - David Vincent
